1. Introduction

We require a certified copy (following the guidance below) of the following:
There are two drop-in sessions per week for Scholarship applicants, both current and prospective.
The history of the physical library buildings have been extensively documented over the last 400 years, but this month we will be exploring the impact that librarians, porters, students and even thieves have had in the Library’s past.
The Education and Training Committee is responsible for education and training strategy, policy and support. It advises the Inn on all matters of educational policy that may affect student or barrister members of the Inn. It responds to consultations affecting the profession or the Inn. It liaises with the General Council of the Bar, the Bar Standards Board, and the other Inns of Court, particularly the Advocacy Training Council (ATC) in connection with any such matter of policy. It is responsible for the registration and training of approved pupil supervisors of the Inn.
The Membership Committee is responsible for strategic planning in relation to the support of the Inn for its members and the re-engagement by the Inn with them; including:
a) encouraging and enhancing the use of the facilities and services of the Inn by all members of the Inn and their participation in events organised by the Inn through the development of social and re-connection programmes;
b) development of social and professional facilities, services and events provided by the Inn for its members
The Estates Committee is responsible for the strategic management and maintenance of the Inn’s estate and preservation of its historic heritage. This includes the repair, improvement and modernisation of the Inn’s buildings and grounds, leasing of accommodation for Barristers’ Chambers and residential use, preservation of security and good order within the precincts of the Inn and allocation of car parking. The Director of Estates is Secretary to the Committee.
