This series of volumes covers the period from 1745 to 1902 and contains a weekly or daily record of the names of members dining in Hall, including their guests at Grand Day. These volumes offer an insight to when members were physically present at the Inn, and with whom they might have come into contact socially while dining. One example of this is the number of future American Revolutionaries who are seen to have been dining together in Hall including John Laurens, Edward Rutledge, John Dickinson and Thomas Pinckney. Volume 12 of this series (1887-1894) is currently unavailable. Unfortunately, these records are not currently searchable, but we hope to make them so in the future.
