Paralegal Role

We are seeking a dedicated paralegal to support our Family Office based in Leicestershire.  This role involves full support and legal assistance with all Trust, family and Family Office matters.  The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in law, with an interest in further developing their knowledge of legal matters of concern to high-net-worth families.  Responsibilities include supporting legal operations, project management and conducting legal research. This position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Duties to include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in negotiating and drafting commercial and legal agreements
  • Establishing and maintaining contracting processes and templates
  • Providing administrative support for legal documentation
  • Participating in developing company policies on legal issues
  • Assist in compliance projects, particularly with data privacy regulations
  • Respond to internal and external requests for legal information, including AML,  KYC and ICO
  • Conduct legal research and provide updates on applicable laws and regulations
  • Support Family Office Director in liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaison with external advisors
  • Reviewing of Trust resolutions and deeds
  • Document and issue preparation for professional advisor, investment, partnership and Trustee meetings
  • Document and issue preparation for and attendance at any associated pre-meetings to include minute taking and preparation of agendas/collation of meeting papers in advance of meetings
  • Liaising with Trustees, as directed by Director and Head of Accounts and People
  • Project management of Trust and Family property matters
  • Management of residential property acquisitions/sales
  • Responding/assisting with work queries from members of the team
  • Input into Family Office/Team projects
  • Assisting the Family Office Director
  • Any other matters as reasonably required from time to time
