This year, the European Circuit is being welcomed to the wine capital of the world by the Bar of Bordeaux. 

As usual the conference will include high-quality discussions around a broad range of topics of interest to practitioners across Europe including legal issues relating to sports, arts and culture and modern challenges in dispute resolution. We will return to further aspects of AI, building on our discussions at last year’s conference in Prague, and will also look at challenging cross-border issues in family and criminal law. 

The event will be opened by Caroline Laveissière, the Batonnier of the Bar of Bordeaux, who will then join Vice Bâtonnier Jérôme Delas, Barbara Mills KC, Vice Chair of the Bar of England and Wales and Robert Němec, President of the Czech Bar Association, in a Bar Leaders Discussion Panel.

The programme also includes a drinks reception at Latitude 20, Cité du Vin and a gala dinner on the banks of the Gironde at l’Estacade, as well as a visit to a local court.
