The Inn is seeking members to act as ‘University Ambassadors’ to assist the Inn in establishing and improving the communication between the practicing Bar and law schools and to champion the Inn’s efforts to promote equality and diversity at the Bar.

The commitment will be modest. Ambassadors will be asked to attend career’s events and talks at their University. They may be asked to facilitate student visits to Chambers, Courts and the Inn. They are encouraged to build a relationship with the teaching staff as well as students and to keep the Inn updated with developments affecting the teaching of law.  In short, the commitment is what you make of it.

Members who have a specific link to a university or preferred law school will have that preference taken into account.  Our aim is for every law school in the country to have an Ambassador and we also encourage volunteers who are prepared to be allocated to a law school of our choosing.
