Middle Temple's Employed Bar Society and Talent Retention Working Group, in collaboration with BACFI, invite members of all four Inns of Court to attend this session about opportunities at the employed Bar for career returners and movers.
This event will look at:
- How barristers can move between the employed and self-employed Bar
- Opportunities for career returners such as after maternity and paternity leave
- Different career options at the employed Bar
Host: Ian Brookes-Howells (Lloyds Banking Group)
Our panel will include barristers who have changed careers between the self-employed and employed Bar:
- Charlotte Pope-Williams, who has worked for the Bank of England, Pinsent Masons, and is now self-employed at 3 Hare Court.
- Dan Byrne, who is an employed barrister, and partner, at AA Thornton, and a part-time Deputy District Judge.
- Emma Torr, Co-Director of Appeal and barrister.
The session will be followed by a drinks and nibbles reception.
