Full Title: Craig Carr EsqCategory: Ordinary Bencher Bench Call Date: 8.4.2025 Call Date: 24.11.2005 Bio: Craig is a barrister at 7BR Chambers. He was born and grew up in Manchester. He read jurisprudence at St Catherine College, Oxford, where he was a foundation scholar and exhibitioner. He joined Middle Temple in 2003 whilst an undergraduate student. He was awarded an Astbury Scholarship in 2004 and was called to the Bar in 2005. He specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence law. He is a member of the appeal panel to the Lambeth redress scheme for abuse claims, chaired by Sir John Goldring. He was part of the Counsel to the Inquiry Team in the Thirlwall Inquiry. Craig’s pro bono work has included trial monitoring in Namibia for Lawyers Without Borders. He regularly undertakes mentoring and mock interviews for aspiring barristers. He has been a volunteer Link Scheme barrister for over five years has sat on the panel for scholarship interviews. He has set a number of problems for the Rosmund Smith Mooting Competition, including for the final in 2021. |
