Dame Rosemary Squire co-founded Ambassador Theatre Group in 1992, which has gone onto become the world’s number one live-theatre company. Her latest venture is Trafalgar Entertainment, a premium international live entertainment business focussed on new productions and the distribution of live-streaming innovative content, it is already the second largest live theatre group in the UK. TE is home to Trafalgar Theatre, Theatre Royal Sydney, HQ Theatres and Hospitality, Trafalgar Theatre Productions, Trafalgar Releasing, Stagecoach Performing Arts, London Theatre Direct, Luke Shires Marketing, Jonathan Church Theatre Productions, Chiswick Cinema and More2Screen. In 2014, she made history as the first woman to be named EY UK Entrepreneur of the Year. She was a National Member of the Arts Council England Board for ten years and is currently Joint Chairman of The Hall for Cornwall and Chairman Designate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, becoming Chairman in October 2021. In 2007 Rosemary was awarded an OBE for Services to Theatre and in 2018 received a Damehood for Services to Theatre and Philanthropy.
