Full Title: Bernard Richmond KCCategory: Ordinary Bencher Bench Call Date: 21.11.2005 Call Date: 28.7.1988 Bio: Bernard Richmond KC was Called in 1988 and he became a tenant at Lamb Building in the Temple in 1990. He has remained in that set ever since and is currently Head of Chambers. He specialises in criminal defence work (in the widest sense) and inquest work. He has particular expertise in cases involving serious violence, serious sexual assault and organised crime and also cases where the client is particularly vulnerable. Bernard has been a Recorder since 2002 and an Assistant Coroner since 2012, but advocacy has always been and remains his first love and he has been a QC since 2006. He is the Director of Studies of Middle Temple Advocacy and the Chair of Middle Temple’s Education and Training Committee. He is currently Co-Chairman of the College of Advocacy’s Training and Accreditation Committee and chaired the College’s first annual conference (on Vulnerable Clients). |
