Masters of the Bench

Martin Partington CBE KC (Hon) is Emeritus Professor of the University of Bristol.  He held academic appointments at Warwick University, the LSE and Brunel University. He is a founder member of Arden Chambers, where he remains a door tenant.  He was Law Commissioner for England and Wales from 2001-2005 and Special Consultant to the Commission 2006-2008, where he led the Commission's major project on the reform of Housing Law. The Welsh Assembly Government has recently announced that it will be implementing the Commission's report Renting Homes.
