Full Title: Stuart Ritchie KCCategory: Ordinary Bencher Bench Call Date: 22.7.2014 Call Date: 12.10.1995 Bio: Stuart Ritchie KC was called to the Bar in 1995. He undertook pupillage at Brick Court Chambers before being offered tenancy at Littleton Chambers in 1996 where he has practised ever since. He took silk in 2012, and specialises in a broad range of work encompassing commercial litigation, civil fraud, employment and LLP disputes. His practice covers both domestic and international litigation and arbitration. He is also a qualified commercial mediator. He is the author (with Andrew Stafford Q.C.) of Fiduciary Duties: Directors and Employees (Jordans 2008). Stuart has been involved for many years with the training of pupils both in Chambers and as an advocacy trainer for the Middle Temple. He has also been closely involved in the wider governance of Littleton Chambers, serving on the management and other committees. Away from the Bar Stuart is a governor of a prep school and a trustee of two other charitable trusts. Married with two young children he occasionally finds time to indulge hobbies, in particular classical music (he plays the piano and organ) and golf. He has been the secretary of the Middle Temple Golfing Society since 2007. |
