Masters of the Bench

Rebecca was a pupil of Master John Hopkins at Downing College where she took a first as well as a half blue in karate.  Called in 1994, she joined 13 Old Square, now Maitland Chambers, and rapidly became a specialist in company and insolvency law matters, winning the Chambers and Partners Directory Insolvency Junior of the Year in 2009 before taking Silk in 2012.  She is passionate about advocacy training; she chairs the Chancery Bar Association Equality and Diversity Committee and sits on the Bankruptcy and Companies Court and the Rolls Building Users' Committees.  She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Kandahar, a qualified ski instructor and a mother of two.
