After her pupillage with firstly John Nutting, then Roger Backhouse, she became a member of the Western Circuit where she became a specialist criminal practitioner. Throughout her career she has taught, both for Domus and for her Circuit, advocacy and ethics to the next generation of lawyers. Having previously served as a member of the Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee of the Bar Council, she is currently a member of the Council of The Inns of Court Disciplinary Pool, sitting as the Barrister Member of the Disciplinary Tribunal. She was appointed a Bencher at the age of 43, on the 21st anniversary of her Call to the Bar. She is a loyal and dedicated supporter of the Inn and the Western Circuit. |
