Full Title: Derrick Dale KCCategory: Ordinary Bencher Bench Call Date: 31.10.2018 Call Date: 16.10.1990 Bio: Derrick Dale studied law at Emmanuel College Cambridge (1985-88) and the Harvard Law School (1989), joined the Middle Temple in 1987 with a Queen Mother’s scholarship, was called to the Bar in 1990 and took silk in 2010. He has practised throughout his career at Fountain Court chambers where he was the Head of Pupillage over a 10 year period (2007-17). His areas of practice include general commercial litigation, arbitration, banking, insurance and professional negligence. He also sits as an arbitrator and is a contributor to Simpson on Professional Negligence.
His interests outside of the law include literature, theatre, film noir cinema, running, gardening, horse riding at a dude ranch in Montana and cycling in the Alps for a breast cancer charity called Le Cure. He is also a trustee of Three Pillars project, a charity providing rugby training and mentoring to category B prisoners. |
