Full Title: Andrew Moran KCCategory: Ordinary Bencher Bench Call Date: 17.4.2018 Call Date: 7.2.1989 Bio: Andrew was called to the Bar in 1989 and was appointed silk in 2016. He has a Chancery/Commercial practice and has appeared in courts at all levels in England, the Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands.
Andrew has a keen interest in African affairs and has co-authored two reports on the justice system in Zimbabwe: The State of Justice in Zimbabwe (2004) and A Place in the Sun (2010). Andrew is also the author of the book, Commercial Litigation in Anglophone Africa (2018, Juta Press), the first work on the subject to be published.
Born in London and educated at Wimbledon College, Andrew studied law at University College, London University, graduating with a first class degree, and then read for the Bachelor of Civil Law at New College, Oxford University.
Andrew is married to Michele Giddens and has two children, Indiana Margaret and Anthony Zac.
