Robert was the leader of the South Eastern Circuit (1989-1992); Chairman of the Bar (1994); Treasurer, Middle Temple (2007}; Deputy High Court Judge (1993-2012); Recorder of the Crown Court (1982-2007) and is a Member of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal (since 2000). He has a varied practice, predominantly medical related in recent years, and has undertaken extensive Pro-Bono work in China and Mexico. He was Chairman of the Governors of Brighton College (1999-2006) and holds various trusteeships including The Malaria Consortium. His interests include wine, travel, skiing and listening to music. |
