Full Title: Linda GreenhouseCategory: Honorary Bencher Bench Call Date: 26.11.2019 Bio: Linda Greenhouse is a lecturer at Yale Law School and a commentator for the New York Times on the United States Supreme Court. For 30 years (1978-2008), she was the daily Supreme Court Correspondent for the Times. Since then, she has written a regular op-ed column on the Court for the newspaper's opinion pages. Her books include "The U.S. Supreme Court: A Very Short Introduction" (Oxford University Press) and "Becoming Justice Blackmun," a biography of the Supreme Court justice who wrote the 1973 abortion decision, Roe v. Wade. She has published widely in law reviews, and reviews books on law for the New York Review of Books. In extracurricular life, she is president of the American Philosophical Society, the country's oldest learned society. She is a graduate of Harvard and holds a master's degree from Yale Law School. |
