The Trustees are responsible for the supervision and management of the Inn’s defined-benefit pension and assurance scheme, taking professional advice where appropriate, in accordance with the various Pensions Acts and associated regulations. Four of the Trustees are appointed by the Inn, the Scheme’s sponsoring employer. Two Trustees are appointed by the membership and serve for a four-year term. The Trustees are also responsible for the assets of the Scheme and set the investment strategy to be followed by the investment manager. The Director of Finance is the Secretary to the Trustees.
