Our in‑house Security Team plays a vital role in safeguarding our historic estate, working under the leadership of the Security Manager and the Director of Estates.
We are now seeking a committed and professional Security Officer to join our team.
In this full‑time role, working 12‑hour shifts on a 4‑on / 4‑off rotation (days and nights), you will ensure the estate remains safe, secure and welcoming at all times. You will act as a calm, confident and professional presence, responding quickly and appropriately to incidents, escalating issues when required, and providing clear communication and accurate reporting.
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Corporate security experience, including strong working knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and fire detection network systems.
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively on rotating day/night shifts.
- Physical fitness to carry out patrols across a 1.5‑mile site, undertake standing/sitting duties over a 12‑hour shift, and respond rapidly to emergency situations.
- Experience in a similar working environment, and ideally an understanding of Middle Temple or another not‑for‑profit organisation.
- Experience working on a large estate and/or with VIP stakeholders (advantageous).
