Calling all Middle Temple photographers - experts or budding (to keep with the horticultural theme) amateurs. We're launching the Middle Temple Garden photo exhibition.

There will be a winner and runner up in each category:
1. Floral
2. Fauna - including invertebrates and pets
3. Landscape
4. Seasons
5. Contrasts e.g. shapes time and weather. Potential for a collage of images within a single submission
6. Behind the scenes – working, tools and equipment
Eligibility and conditions of entry:
Open to all individuals
Subject matter must be Middle Temple Garden and its courtyards.
Size and quality:
Minimum image size 2,500 pixels on smallest side. Preferably jpeg or tiff format. (For printing at roughly A4 size or 8x10 inches)
Note: Middle Temple will be free to use any photograph submitted for publicity or other uses.
Garden photography exhibition Terms and Conditions
- Entry is free and open to anyone.
- Who is judging the competition? Senior members of the Inn and garden.
- What are the prizes? Winners will receive £50 and a bottle of bubbly, First runner up will receive a bottle of bubbly, Second runner up will receive a bottle of wine.
Terms and Conditions:
- The entrant is the creator of the photograph AND that the photograph/work is original – i.e. not copied from anyone else and not made up of images taken by other persons (copyright).
- The photographer waives their moral rights in respect of the photograph/work (moral rights)
- The entrant has obtained consent (a release) from every person shown in the photograph for the use of their image for the competition and including any future use by MT
- The photograph/work is not created using AI (data protection/copyright)
- By entering the competition, the photographer grants an irrevocable licence to MT to use the photograph/work for any purpose, including the right to sub-licence for five years. Note, where an image is used, the photographer will be credited.
- The photographer will indemnify MT in respect of any claims if MT’s use is alleged to be an infringement of a third party’s rights.
