Bio:

Ian Pennicott KC SC was in full-time practice at Des Voeux Chambers, Hong Kong and an International Tenant at Keating Chambers, London until 31 December 2025. He is now on the List of Neutrals at Des Voeux Chambers and practices as a full-time arbitrator. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in England & Wales in 2003 and Senior Counsel in Hong Kong in 2014. When at the Bar, Ian specialised in domestic and international, infra-structure, and oil and gas disputes. He has sat and is now sitting as a chairman, party-appointed or sole arbitrator in various places including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Paris and London. Ian has extensive knowledge of other forms of ADR, in particular mediation and adjudication. Ian is a member of the CIArb and a member and Past Chairman (2015-2016) of the Society of Construction Law, Hong Kong.
