Bio:

At Cambridge Daniel Janner was elected President of the Union and read law.  He was a Jules Thorn Scholar and was pupil to Mr Justice Burton in Master Sherrard’s Chambers where he was a tenant for the first eight years of his practice until he joined his present chambers at 23 Essex Street.  Since 1994 he has been an editor of the Criminal Appeal Reports and has served as a member of numerous Bar Council and Circuit Committees.  He has been a director of research for the Society of Conservative Lawyers.  In the Inn, he has been an active advocacy trainer and sponsor for many years.
