The Inn runs two schemes that involve marshalling placements: 

• the standard Marshalling Scheme - student members (current or post Bar Course)

Placements are usually 3 days, although it is up to each judge. Placements can be arranged throughout the legal year.

• the Access to the Bar Scheme - undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds

Placements are ideally 5 days long. Placements usually take place during the last week in June and first week in July each year (occasionally we may arrange a placement outside of these dates).
