 his session will explore court preparation in civi
 l and criminal cases.</p>\n \n <p>The criminal asp
 ect of the training will be delivered by HHJ Enrig
 ht&nbsp\;who has identified a number of recurrent 
 problems faced by junior barristers relating to ha
 ndling of:</p>\n \n <ol>\n 	<li>Jury bundles</li>\
 n 	<li>Applications for Cloud Video Platform (CVP)
 </li>\n </ol>\n \n <p>The event will deal with pre
 paring jury bundles in jury trials\, giving exampl
 es and identifying common errors which impede the 
 effective disposal of criminal cases.&nbsp\;The ev
 ent will also deal with how to make proper CVP app
 lications in criminal cases.&nbsp\;The current gui
 dance for CVP is soon to be rescinded and replaced
  by fresh guidance which takes effect on 1 October
  2026 and this will dramatically reshape the worki
 ng lives of advocates. This talk will explain thos
 e changes and explore the Impact of all this on cr
 iminal practitioners. &nbsp\;This session will ide
 ntify the statute law\, guidance and provide examp
 les of common errors and best practice\, preparing
  attendees to make effective applications.&nbsp\;<
 /p>\n \n <p>The civil aspect of the training will 
 be delivered by Aislinn Kelly-Lyth\, a junior barr
 ister with a broad practice. It will cover:</p>\n 
 \n <ol>\n 	<li>Where to find practice directions a
 nd guides for different fora in civil litigation\;
 </li>\n 	<li>Other useful sources of procedural kn
 owledge</li>\n 	<li>Best practices for putting tog
 ether bundles.</li>\n </ol>\n \n <p>The session wi
 ll be useful for those commencing practice in both
  the civil courts and the tribunals and navigating
  the various procedural approaches.</p>\n \n <div
