 his session will explore court preparation in civi
 l and criminal cases.</p>\n \n <p>The criminal asp
 ect of the training will be delivered by <strong>H
 is Hon Judge Enright</strong> who has identified a
  number of recurrent problems faced by junior barr
 isters relating to handling of:</p>\n \n <ol>\n 	<
 li>Jury bundles</li>\n 	<li>Applications for Cloud
  Video Platform (CVP)</li>\n </ol>\n \n <p>The eve
 nt will deal with preparing jury bundles in jury t
 rials\, giving examples and identifying common err
 ors which impede the effective disposal of crimina
 l cases.&nbsp\;The event will also deal with how t
 o make proper CVP applications in criminal cases.&
 nbsp\; The current guidance for CVP is soon to be 
 rescinded and replaced by fresh guidance which tak
 es effect on 1 October 2026 and this will dramatic
 ally reshape the working lives of advocates.This s
 ession will identify the statute law\, guidance an
 d provide examples of common errors and best pract
 ice\, preparing attendees to make effective applic
 ations.&nbsp\;</p>\n \n <p>The civil aspect of the
  training will be delivered by <strong>Aislinn Kel
 ly-Lyth</strong>\, a junior barrister with a broad
  practice. It will cover:</p>\n \n <ol>\n 	<li>Whe
 re to find practice directions and guides for diff
 erent fora in civil litigation\;</li>\n 	<li>Other
  useful sources of procedural knowledge</li>\n 	<l
 i>Best practices for putting together bundles.</li

 hose commencing practice in both the civil courts 
 and the tribunals and navigating the various proce
