 This lecture will discuss how artificial intellige
 nce is being used in the legal sector. It will rev
 iew various AI tools considering both the pros and
  cons of their application. The discussion will ex
 plore the ethical elements of using AI\, with part
 icular focus on how these AI models “learn” and th
 e implications of uploading and sharing legal docu
 ments on the platforms.</p>\n \n <p>There will be 
 a practical component to the session\, where atten
 dees are asked to utilise the services with a lega
 l research scenario\, which will be provided durin
 g the session. Attendees will work in small groups
  to discuss their experience of using the platform
