CommonLII The Commonwealth Legal Information Institute provides a search facility for free core legal information from the whole Commonwealth, covering 756 databases from 59 countries, including the English Reports 1220-1873.

Constitute Project This is a free database of constitutions provided by the Comparative Constitutions Project of the University of Texas at Austin. You can browse countries alphabetically to generate the full text of the constitution as well search by keyword. You can also select certain constitutional topics to generate a list of sections pertaining to that topic, which can then be viewed.  Constitutions can be compared and sections on topics are easily identifiable.

Doing Business Law Library An online collection of freely available business laws and regulations with links to official sources where available. Different jurisdictions are covered with laws on various topics such as banking and credit, bankruptcy, companies, labour, securities, taxation and trade. Translations are unofficial unless otherwise stated.

ECOLEX The ECOLEX database combines the environmental law information holdings of FAO, IUCN and UNEP. You can find information on “treaties, international soft-law and other non-binding policy and technical guidance documents, national legislation, judicial decisions, and law and policy literature.” For each document located, there is an abstract and indexing information as well as the full text if available.

FAOLEX From the Food and Agricultural Organization of the UN (FAO), this is a comprehensive and up-to-date legislative and policy database which collects national laws, regulations and policies on food, agriculture and natural resources management.

Foreign Law Guide (FLAG) A collaborative internet gateway to the holdings of foreign, international and comparative law in UK university and national libraries, maintained by the IALS library.

Foreign Law Research (FLARE) A collaboration between the major legal research libraries in the UK working to improve access to and exploitation of foreign, comparative and international materials at the national level, maintained by the IALS library.

Guide to Law Online Prepared by the Law Library of Congress this is an annotated worldwide guide to sources of information on government and law, with selected links to reliable sites.

LAW.gov - Library of Congress Hosts links to online sources of constitutions & other legal materials from nations around the world. Produced by the USA Law Library of Congress.

SHERLOC - Sharing Electronic Resources and Laws On Crime Developed by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) this database brings togther information regarding the implementation of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime and its three Protocols. The portal consists of a case law database, a database of legislation, a bibliographic database, and a directory of competent national authorities.

WorldLII A collaboration of various Legal Information Institutes and other institutions, offering free, independent and non-profit access to worldwide law including International Court of Justice decisions since 1993.

India

India Code Database of all Central acts which are in force, from 1836 to date.

Indian Kanoon Free access to case law from the Supreme Court, High Courts, a few district courts and numerous tribunals. Some content is subscription only.

LII of India Free, independent and non-profit access to 159 databases of Indian law, including case law and legislation from both the central and state levels.

New Zealand

NZLII Currently offers free access to 41 databases of legal information in New Zealand.

Norway

Lovdata Selected laws and cases translated into English. Only part of the content is available without a subscription.

Pacific Islands

PacLII Provides free access to primary materials such as court decisions and legislation, as well as secondary information such as court rules or bench books, from 19 jurisdiction in the Pacific.
