Details: 

This Qualifying Session is only open to those students who are currently studying the BPTC at an institution outside of London.

There is an alternative Education Day on Monday 19 January 2018.  Please note: students are only permitted to attend ONE of the Education Days.

Lunch on arrival, followed by a programme of talks in the afternoon.  The programme on both days will touch on exam preparation and there will be Q&A relating to applying for Call; talks on Saturday 17 February will include a session on international arbitration, while on Monday 19 February the focus will be on practice in England and Wales.

It is possible to attend the Education Day and the QS in the evening (subject to availability) to obtain 2 qualifying sessions.

Qualifying Session Details:

For Middle Temple students who are starting the BPTC at an institution outside of London.  To be awarded the QS you are required to arrive on time and attend all elements of this event (please check timings for each individual event).  You must hand your ticket to the Front of House staff on arrival.  Failure to do so will mean that the QS will not be awarded. Booking Tickets:

OOL Student Members of the Inn can buy tickets online by clicking ‘Book Now’.  Please note that you must log in to book (if you have not yet created a log-in please register first).  Alternatively you can buy tickets from the Treasury Office in person or by telephoning 020 7427 4800.

Unless the event sells out earlier, booking will close at 14:00 two working days before the event.  

Please note: You cannot book a ticket online for another member of the Inn if that member needs the Qualifying Session assigned to their record. They must log in and book their own ticket, or alternatively contact the Treasury Office.

Ticket prices:

Tickets for standard QS events at the Inn are free of charge to students studying the BPTC outside of London up until the point where you are have booked 12 in total (black tie events carry a subsidised charge).  Click here for more information on these concessions.

Cancellations:

Student Members - To cancel a ticket please contact the Treasury Office on 020 7427 4800.  If you do not attend an event that you have booked, this will still be counted as one of your complimentary sessions.  However, if you provide sufficient notice before the event (2 clear working days) you can cancel your ticket to avoid the QS counting towards your free allowance.
