The evening will provide a chance for Hall Members to speak with current Benchers to discover what being a Bencher is like and the paths current Benchers took to becoming one. The evening will focus on encouraging Members who may not have previously contemplated becoming a Bencher to consider doing so, while detailing the criteria set out by the Inn’s By-Laws for election to the Bench (please see page 9 on the Inn’s Bylaws here).

The event will be held in the Garden Room and Benchers will be in attendance to answer questions and tell you more about the role of a Bencher.
